This trek lies in the Solukhumbu region, to the southwest of the original Everest base camp trail. The trek offers Pike Peak climb (4070m) on which one can savor the stunning panorama of Himalayas including Everest (8848m), Makalu (8475) and Kanchanjunga (8598m), Annapurna (8091 m), and Manaslu (8156 m). This trek crosses paths with the famous sacred milky lake “Dudh Kunda” (4560m), dense rhododendron forest and friendly hospitality of Sherpa and Sherpa villages, Buddhist monasteries, temples and shrines. The region is rich in flora and fauna. It consists of five different species of rhododendrons. It also includes a variety of wild animals and birds such as the leopard, jackal, Himalayan Thar, mountain, bear, pheasant etc. A trek you do not want to miss.
